Не представляю как их обновлять, надеюсь на вашу помощь. Скачать драва, закинул на рабочий стол NVIDIA-Linux-x86-173.14.12-pkg1.run обновить не получается. Пробывал так: Ctrl+Alt+F1 захожу под именем root init 3 -отключаеv графический сервер далее sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-173.14.12-pkg1.run и пишел файл не найден и тут стопор у меня Код обновления еще нашел но не вводил еще так как файл двайвера все равно не находит… ррр сложно блин chmod 775 nvidia-installer nvidia-installer -a –no-x-check –no-runlevel-check –update –no-backup –force-update Куда NVIDIA-Linux-x86-173.14.12-pkg1.run закидывать?

ты в папку то зайди… а то скинул на рабочий стол, а потом ищещь в домашней директории… cd ~/Desktop или cd ~/Рабочий\ стол… ну что-то типа того…

А зачем такие сложности? У тебя же .run можно просто мышью в него 2 раза тыкнуть. У меня дрова для ati вообще только под иксами ставились

ну смотри… ты кидаешь говоришь на рабочий стол, а потом ctrl + alt + F1 когда нажимашь и логинишься ты же оказываешься в домашней директории… в /root то есть… ну а файл то у тебя не в этой папке лежит… надо путь к файлу прописать… что-то вроде /home/parano1d/Desktop/имя_файла

Ерунда какая то установил драва перегазружаюсь Linux загружается и сразу появляется командная строка, на рабочий стол не попадаю. Два раза пробывал устанавливать, главное дело дрова то удачно устанавливаются. Делал так: init 3 /home/1/1.run init 5

попробуй написать startx и найди самоучитель линукс какой-нибудь для начинающих…

Напишу самое главное что пишет: Failed to initialite the NVIDIA kernel! Please easure that there is a supported NVIDIA GPU in this system, and that hte NVIDIA device files have been created properly. Please coasult the NVIDIA readme for details. Screen(s) found, bat none have a usable configuration. Fatal Server error: no sereens found Connection reset by peer (errno 104): unable to connect to X server No such process (errno 3): Server error

иксы не сконфигурированы… думаю надо запустить скрипт с параметрами, которые там написаны… то есть вроде nvidia-installer -a –no-x-check –no-runlevel-check –update –no-backup –force-update

Тоже самое, только… Скачивается файл с инета, предлогает установить или отказаться, устанавливаю. По завершению установки пишет: Your X configuration file has been successfully updated. Installation of the Nvidia Accelerated Graphics Driver for Linux-x86 (version: 173.14.12) is now complete. После пробывал startx одна и таже хрень. После попробывал ctrl+alt+delete перезагрузил не входит только командная строка пояаляется после загрузки.

SPAG43DH Geforce 6600 (AGP-8X) 128MB DDR+HDTV+DVI+TV OUT эти драйвера для моей карты. Предыдущие стояли не каких проблем не было, правда не я их устанавливал, а при установки Linux все само поставилось

Скачал еще xconfig 1.0 ее обязательно ставить или это просто насторйки видахи под Linux? Вот еще что предлогалось скачать во время установки дров: No precompiled kermel interface was found to match your kermel: would you like the installer to attenpt todownload a kermel interface for your kermel from the NVIDIA ftp site (ftp://download.nvidia.com)? Но там файла не обнаруживает, нечего скачивать) А вот код дров (все что не закодированно) #! /bin/sh

А если файл xorg.conf руками попробовать поправить ? и вообще посмотри форум на оффе своего дистрибьютива навернека там эта проблема есть и освещена подробно

в поверпаке уже есть проприетарные драйвера от NV. зачем устраивать себе геморой? пользуйтесь официальными репозитариями, компилять и makeinstallить вы всегда успеете.
